We are a community of martial artists committed to teaching with authenticity and care. Each Training Circle is shaped by the personality, focus, and vision of its leader, whether an Authorized Instructor or an Instructor in Development.
All Instructor in Development candidates are mentored directly by our master instructors, ensuring that the Filipino martial tradition of Pekiti Tirsia Kali remains at the heart of every class. At the same time, each leader is encouraged to grow into their own authentic voice, creating Training Circles where students experience both the strength of tradition and the energy of emerging leadership.
INSTRUCTOR IN DEVELOPMENT CANDIDATES
Our Instructors in Development are emerging leaders selected for the qualities that define true instructors. Some are early in their teaching journey, others bring years of experience, but all have demonstrated the heart, commitment, and drive that make them suitable for development.
They are part of our developmental branch: recognized, supported, and mentored members of our community who are actively learning how to teach. They are working on becoming Authorized Instructors, but they are valued contributors to our ecosystem and our future instructor pipeline. We select candidates who possess qualities of leadership that matter most in teaching:

Each Instructor in Development candidate is mentored directly by our master instructors, ensuring their Training Circles balance fresh energy and relatability with the assurance of authentic guidance. For students, this means training in a space that is dynamic, approachable, and firmly rooted in tradition.
WHY JOIN A TRAINING CIRCLE?
When you join a Training Circle, you’re not just signing up for classes.. you’re becoming part of a living ecosystem of training and mentorship. Each study group is led by an Instructor in Development or an Authorized Instructor, but all are connected through the guidance and collaboration of a master instructor.
This means you receive the personal attention of your Training Circle host while belonging to a larger extended family of practitioners.
