Training Journey:
•    Randy began his martial arts journey in 2010 through Aikido, drawn to its principles of calm, centered movement. In 2013 he expanded into Pekiti Tirsia Kali, reconnecting with his Filipino cultural heritage while deepening his understanding of blade and impact-weapon principles, flow, and practical self-defense. His practice blends the grounded composure of Aikido with the direct, adaptive entries of Kali.

Teaching Philosophy:
•    Randy believes the essence of martial arts lies not in physical force but in the mindful, deliberate unfolding of technique. Where discipline shapes the body, intention guides the movement, and true strength emerges from harmony rather than power. Through patient, repetitive drills, students hone their movements until technique becomes an intuitive expression of their being, freeing the mind to focus on the flow of the moment.

Community Contribution:
•    Beyond the training circle, Randy lives out his belief that martial arts and service go hand in hand. Through the Knights of Columbus, he takes part in community feeding programs and disaster-relief efforts, and his pastoral service and active participation in parish activities extend his discipline into care for others. His work ensures that martial arts is not only a path of readiness, but also a source of compassion, belonging, and strength for the community around him.
